FAQ’s

When do practices begin?

Practice for all teams will start near the beginning of June. The coaches will develop a reasonable practice schedule that works within spring baseball schedules. It is important to have the summer team begin workouts and have a good opportunity to play together before the summer season. Practices for this team are typically at Eliot/Warren Fields and you can expect two or more practices per week during the July-August season.

When are the games?

Most games begin at 5:00 PM on weekdays with a typical 1-hour warm-up call. Weekend game times vary. Carpooling is usually workable for travel games.

Are players required to attend every game and practice?

We need players to be available for the majority of games and practices, but we also realize that families take vacations in the summer. It is typical to stagger rosters so even if you will be away for part of the summer you may still be able to play summer baseball. But - the more games you can play, the better it is for the team! If you have concerns about your summer schedule, please contact the Summer VP (contact below) to discuss. In any case, please come to the tryout. We generally create a “full time” roster of core players who can make most of the games, and an “alternate” roster of players who can fill in as they are available.

How do I register and what’s important for now?

Click below! Please note again that all players who wish to tryout MUST register! You will need to enter your availability for the entire the season so have your summer schedule ready when you register.

What does it cost?

The fee is $125 for full time players and $50 for alternates. You will not be charged a registration fee at this time. Players who make the team will be expected to pay before the first practice.

Is it going to be big fun?

Yes. Absolutely!
